Volumes jump at Entertainment Network (India) counter

Menon Bearings, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Asahi India Glass and Syngene International are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 8 January 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 167.20 points, or 0.49% to 34,321.05.

Entertainment Network (India) clocked volume of 2.02 lakh shares by 13:24 IST on BSE, a 294.13-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 687 shares. The stock rose 3.69% to Rs 776.

Menon Bearings notched up volume of 25.71 lakh shares, a 124.92-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock rose 11.60% to Rs 118.80.

 

Dr. Lal PathLabs saw volume of 5.02 lakh shares, a 96.65-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,189 shares. The stock rose 0.06% to Rs 899.40.

Asahi India Glass clocked volume of 4.02 lakh shares, a 72.05-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,581 shares. The stock rose 0.99% to Rs 377.35.

Syngene International saw volume of 8.32 lakh shares, a 61.94-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock rose 2.95% to Rs 589.
