Volumes jump at GIC Housing Finance counter

Gateway Distriparks, Gayatri Projects, Rural Electrification Corporation and Financial Technologies (India) are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 15 December 2015.

GIC Housing Finance clocked volume of 5.13 lakh shares by 13:50 IST on BSE, a 40.57 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock rose 1.24% at Rs 199.80. A bulk deal of 5 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 203.55 per share at 12:01 IST on BSE today, 15 December 2015.

Gateway Distriparks notched up volume of 3.98 lakh shares, a 23.80-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 17,000 shares. The stock gained 1.1% at Rs 321.50.

 

Gayatri Projects saw volume of 2.94 lakh shares, a 19.38-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock fell 1.47% at Rs 705.25.

Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) clocked volume of 33.71 lakh shares, a 17.20-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.96 lakh shares. The stock fell 1.04% at Rs 214.30.

Financial Technologies (India) saw volume of 10.67 lakh shares, a 7.22-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.48 lakh shares. The stock surged 8.49% at Rs 129.65.
