Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) clocked volume of 41.47 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 25.52-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.62 lakh shares. The stock surged 11.9% to Rs 61.60 after net profit surged 355.8% to Rs 268.33 crore on 9.79% growth in total income to Rs 6475.93 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013. The Q4 result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 29 April 2014.
ALSTOM India notched up volume of 3.24 lakh shares, a 18.06-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock jumped 11.48% to Rs 455.
Central Bank of India saw volume of 17.64 lakh shares, a 15.73-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.12 lakh shares. The stock jumped 7.21% to Rs 54.25.
Alstom T&D India clocked volume of 3.42 lakh shares, a 14.26-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock surged 5.34% to Rs 279.35.
Finolex Industries saw volume of 3.26 lakh shares, a 8.22-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 40,000 shares. The stock rose 0.36% at Rs 223.
