Sanofi India clocked volume of 31,000 shares by 13:00 IST on BSE, a 26.22-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 3.10% to Rs 2,695.
Shopper's Stop notched up volume of 4.51 lakh shares, a 23.56-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 19,000 shares. The stock rose 1.18% to Rs 382.05.
Natco Pharma saw volume of 70,000 shares, a 8.37-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 8,000 shares. The stock rose 6.05% to Rs 820.60.
Jindal South West Holdings clocked volume of 4.42 lakh shares, a 7.30-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 61,000 shares. The stock surged 15.24% to Rs 597.40.
Shree Renuka Sugars saw volume of 74.67 lakh shares, a 6.58-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 11.34 lakh shares. The stock fell 6.22% to Rs 21.10 after the company said that Singapore-based agri-business firm Wilmar International will invest approximately $200 million in the company. The announcement was made after market hours on Thursday, 20 February 2014.
