East Bridge Capital Master Fund I sold 9.06 lakh equity shares (1.77% equity) of MCX for Rs 1,066 on the NSE on Tuesday (31 March).
Shares of MCX slumped 9.50% to close at Rs 1,023.05. The stock traded in a range of Rs 1,017.20 and Rs 1,121.05 in intraday trade.
MCX's consolidated net profit rose 32.31% to Rs 55.57 crore on a 16.04% rise in net sales to Rs 89.27 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
MCX is engaged in facilitating trading, and clearing and settlement of commodity derivatives. It operates as a commodity futures exchange.
