AC Milan rally to beat Catania

IANS Rome

Nicola Legrottaglie opened the scoring after 11 minutes with a powerful header. But Catania suffered a meltdown when midfielder Pablo Barrientos was sent off three minutes after the break Friday, reports Xinhua.

The 'Rossoneri' swiftly capitalised with goals from El Shaarawy and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The result lifted Massimiliano Allegri's side up to the seventh spot in the standings - two points above Catania.
