Army chief's four-day Sri Lanka visit from Monday

Indian will visit for four days from Monday as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two country, the said on Sunday.

Apart from interaction with senior leadership of the three defence services, the Army chief will meet regional military commanders at Kandy and Trincomalee.

"The visit is yet another milestone in reaching out to our immediate neighborhood and take forward the military-to-military cooperation to the next level," the statement added.
