Bautista, Garcia Lopez, Granollers in 2nd round of Dubai tennis meet

Spaniards Roberto Bautista, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and Marcel Granollers advanced to the second round of the Dubai Tennis Championships on Monday.

Bautista, the sixth seed, managed to beat Russia's Karen Khachanov 6-1, 7-6 (7-4), reports Efe.

Bautista will next face the winner between fellow Spaniard Fernando Verdasco and Germany's Florian Mayer.

Garcia-Lopez defeated Serbian Viktor Troicki 6-4, 6-3, while Granollers advanced with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Czech Jiri Vesely.
