The Election Commission Saturday launched a voter awareness campaign in partnership with 93.5 RED FM here as part of its Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities.
Under the project, the FM radio station would broadcast specific audios - including musicals - containing voter awareness messages, Amit Roy Chowdhury, officer on special duty in the West Bengal chief electoral officer's office, told media persons here.
The programme is targeted at first time voters and urban youths to urge andAsensitise Kolkatans about their duty to exercise their franchise by pressing the EVM button.
