FIFA boss Blatter to visit Iran

FIFA president Sepp Blatter will travel to Iran Wednesday to attend a conference on football, Ali Kaffashian, head of Iran Football Federation, confirmed.

Blatter is scheduled to meet the Iranian football authorities as well as officials of the country's sports and youth ministry, reports Xinhua.

Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa will also arrive in Tehran Thursday morning to attend the conference.
