Firecracker unit fire kills 4

Four persons were killed and six injured when a fire broke out in a firecracker unit in Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli district on Friday, Chief Minister K. Palaniswami said.

Expressing grief, Palaniswami said a solarium of Rs 100,000 will be paid to the family of the dead, Rs 50,000 to the seriously injured and Rs 25,000 to those who suffered minor injuries.
