Four-year-old raped, murdered in Chandigarh

A four-year-old girl was raped and murdered in a slum colony here, police said on Saturday.

The victim was missing from her house since Friday and her parents had lodged a complaint with police. Her body was found near the colony.

Her family and other residents of the colony protested against police inaction in the matter.

Police officials said that investigations were in progress but no arrests had been made so far.
