Gamblin takes over as NDMC chief

Shakuntala Gamblin, an IAS officer of the 1984 batch, was Friday given additional charge of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).

Informed sources said Gamblin, who is Principal Secretary (Services) in the Delhi administration, succeeds Jalaj Shrivastava, who has gone to the U.S. for a month-long training.
