Actress Gracy Singh says her fans eagerly wait for her to perform on the occasion of Janmashtami every year because of her role of Gauri in the Bollywood blockbuster "Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India".

In the famous song "Radha kaise na jale" from the 2001 film, Gracy portrayed goddess Radha, who is worshipped alongside Lord Krishna, whose birth is celebrated on Janmashtami.

"I am a member at Iskcon Temple and I go there every year for Janmashtami. I feel that the birth of Lord Krishna is a celebration of ourselves and the feeling of visiting Iskcon is divine," Gracy, who is currently seen in &TV show "Santoshi Maa", said in a statement.

"I also have my performances there sometimes since a lot of my fans want me to perform as Radha from 'Lagaan', hence that connect is always there for the Janmashtami festival," she added.

Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on Thursday.
