Himachal Budget Session to begin on February 25

The Budget Session of the Himachal Pradesh assembly will begin on February 25 with Governor Acharya Devvrat's address, an official said here on Friday.
The session will have 25 sittings, including two days for private member's business.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the budget on March 8, Vidhan Sabha secretary S.S. Verma told IANS.
This will be his 19th budget in his record six chief ministerial tenures in the state. He will present supplementary budget for 2015-16 on February 26.
It was a populist but deficit budget of Rs.28,339 crore for 2015-16 with no new taxes. He had tried to woo industrial houses.
