India beat Scotland 6-2 in hockey

The Indian men's hockey team defeated Scotland 6-2 in their second Pool A match of the Commonwealth Games at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre here Saturday.
After drubbing Wales 3-1 in the opener, India delivered a strong performance to drub the hosts and go top of their group with six points.
Penalty corner specialists Rupinder Pal Singh and V.R. Raghunath scored a brace each while Gurbaj Singh and Gurwinder Chandi scored a field goal each.
Nicholas Parkes and Kenny Bain scored for the hosts.
