Kirron Kher wins Chandigarh seat

Bollywood actress and BJP candidate Kirron Kher Friday won the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat by 69,642 votes, officials said.

The Bharatiya Janata Party candiate defeated four-time Congress MP Pawan Kumar Bansal. Actress Gul Panag of the Aam Aadmi Party finished third.

While Kher got over 42 percent votes, Bansal and Panag got nearly 27 and 24 percent respectively.
