Man hurls himself to death at Rome hospital

Rome, July 17 (IANS/AKI) A man killed himself at Rome's San Camillo Hospital on Monday by throwing himself from the fire escape on an upper floor of its pulmonology department.

The 42-year-old man was taken to the hospital's emergency department where he died shortly afterwards.

Police were examining a bag containing medical files that hospital staff retrieved at the spot where the man committed suicide.
