Minor sodomised in Delhi

An eleven-year-old boy has been sodomised in east Delhi by his neighbour, who is now on the run, police said Thursday.

The incident happened in east Delhi's Jagatpuri area where Shamshad, 25, lured the boy to his house and sodomised him Wednesday night.

The accused threatened the boy with dire consequences if he disclosed it to anyone, police said.

The boy returned to his house and told his parents about the assault. His parents later lodged a complaint about it with police.
