Modi greets nation on Rath Yatra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the nation on the occasion of the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.

"May Lord Jagannath continue to shower his blessings on everyone," he said.

"May the blessings of Lord Jagannath lead to the development of villages, well-being of the poor and farmers and take India to new heights of progress."

The nine-day Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath began on Wednesday at Puri in Odisha.
