The National Cadet Corps (NCC), an tri-service organisation engaged in grooming youth, Monday launched a website which provides information about the activities of the organisation.
Minister of State for Defence Jitendra Singh launched the NCC website that would facilitate the maintenance of a detailed data bank of 15 lakh cadets, and aid the management of logistics, monitoring of training activities, and budget.
"The new website will be an excellent medium to provide essential information to cadets who can then harness the information and prepare themselves for training in a better manner," he said.
The website provides an insight into the activities of the NCC, information to motivate students to join the organisation, as also an online enrolment facility.
