Odisha varsity founder conferred honorary doctorate

The founder of Odisha-based KIIT university, Achyuta Samanta, has been conferred an honorary doctorate by a university in Iran, his office said here Saturday.

Roshdiyeh Higher Education, a government university in Tabriz in Iran, conferred the degree of doctorate (Honoris Causa) on Samanta at its annual convocation Friday, in recognition to his work in the field of education and social sector.
