Peter Thomson to lead jury for India golf awards

Five time Open Championship winner Peter Thomson will lead the jury for the India golf awards 2015.

The award ceremony, which will take place in February, promises to reward and recognise excellence in golf, according to a release Wednesday.

The awards are presented to professional golfers and to amateurs among CEO golfers, bureaucrats, top academies and teaching professionals.

The 85-year-old Australian has been very active despite his advancing years and would enliven the award ceremony with his presence.
