Rosario Central, Independiente draw in Argentina's football league

Rosario Central and Independiente drew 1-1 in the 15th matchday of Argentina's First Division tournament.

Emanuel Aguilera opened the scoring for Independiente in the 37th minute of the match played in Gigante del Arroyito stadium on Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Rosario Central's Franco Niell scored the equaliser in the 70th minute.

With this result, Rosario Central has 28 points, just four points behind leaders San Lorenzo, while Independiente has 20 points.

Early on Sunday, Crucero del Norte (13) beat San Martin de San Juan (19) 3-1 in a match played in Misiones city, in Argentina's coastal region.
