Congress president Sonia Gandhi greeted people on the occasion of Baisakhi, Vishu, Rongali Bihu, Puthandu Pirappu, Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Naba Barsha being celebrated across the country.
"These festivals celebrated in different parts of the country convey the message of unity and depict the rich cultural heritage of our country," she said in a statement.
Extending her good wishes, the Congress president hoped that these festivals would strengthen peace, love and fraternity among all.
