Sushma hosts reception on International Women's Day

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday hosted a reception on the occasion of International Women's Day.

"Celebrating Women! EAM @SushmaSwaraj hosts a special reception for #InternationalWomensDay at the MEA," external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup tweeted.

March 8 is observed as International Women's Day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
