Telangana CM congratulates Sindhu

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao congratulated India's star shuttler P.V. Sindhu for winning the silver medal in Rio Olympics.

He said that Sindhu is the pride of India in particular Telangana State. He noted that she is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal.

The Chief Minister also appreciated the efforts of Sindhu's coach Pullela Gopichand.

Rao, in his message, said the government of Telangana will encourage and support young talented sportsmen and women in future.
