Woman found hanging at Metro station

A woman was found hanging at the Kashmere Gate Metro station here on Thursday in an apparent case of suicide, a security official said.

The woman, aged 25-30 years, was found hanging from the grill installed near the station exit at 8 a.m., a Central Industrial Security Force spokesman told IANS.

"She appeared to have committed suicide by hanging herself with her 'dupatta'," he said.

The name and address of the deceased were not known. "Nothing could be found on CCTV since the location where the incident took place was beyond the purview of the cameras," the officer added.
