Yuki Bhambri reaches singles semis of Challenger event

India's Yuki Bhambri reached the singles semifinal and the men's doubles final of the Odlum Brown Vanopen Challenger level tennis tournament to cap off a memorable day.

Yuki eked out a close 6-4, 6-4 win in the singles quarterfinal match at the $100,000 event here on Friday.

Yuki next plays against Israel's Dudi Sela.
