Donning the right colour

As part of its drive to clean up and beautify the national capital, the urban development ministry has announced various measures including painting of all public buildings afresh. When asked if the buildings would now be painted in the saffron colour (given the new government's natural inclinations), a senior ministry official said he would be taken to task if he tried to pull off a stunt like that. He was quick to add that a fresh coat of the existing colour would serve the purpose just as well.
