Friendship side-effects

It is not only the former Samajwadi Party General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh who is feeling the effects of being a political outcast. The buzz in the power circles of Lucknow has it that a group of builders, who were once considered close to Singh and exercised their influence when he was a force to reckon with, are now feeling the after-effects of Singh’s friendship since most of their projects are now not getting the mandatory governmental clearances. Since, no political party wants to give shelter to Singh, these builders are left feeling utterly helpless.
