Letters: Spend it well

Now that Dharavi’s Oscar moment is over, will life go back to normal for all the slumdogs? Chances are it will. There will be the usual photo-ops when the slum children return to their ordinary existence but, after a while, the cameras will move on — as the movie script puts it, it is written. This is the time for all right-thinking people to see how they can improve the lot of various slum children. It would be a good idea to put in all the awards/donations that will now come in into a trust whose sole objective is to educate these children. A good education is all that children need, and they can then write their desiny themselves.
