Made in China, upgraded in Gujarat

Much has been made about the quality of Chinese products (or the lack of it). As a result, during the recent memorandum of understanding between Gujarat and China, one of the top bureaucrats in the state government was asked whether the quality of products manufactured by the Chinese in the state will suffer, given the image of the latter's products. To this, the bureaucrat quipped, "Their standard will improve by manufacturing in Gujarat."
