New-look IIC

Once known for its genteel and laid-back ways, the India International Centre is changing. The biennial elections for the board of trustees and the executive council used to be a civilised affair with the old-timers strictly adhering to the bar against canvassing with members. The new lot, however, don’t believe in such niceties and openly call members for their votes, apart from getting friends and acquaintances to call on their behalf.
