Not quite the same thing

As long as Vijay Mallya was in the Rajya Sabha, he never failed to send the famous Kingfisher calendars to his fellow MPs. Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has now taken on this job. On the first day of the Parliament session, Abdullah’s emissaries distributed a wall calendar on Jammu & Kashmir tourism to all MPs. The calendar with 12 pages showing picturesque snaps of the state was an instant hit among the MPs. Some of them even went up to Farooq Abdullah — Omar Abdullah’s father and Union minister for new and renewable energy — and passed on their thanks for his son.
