After a four-year gap, the Indian Railways is set for presidential rides once again with special suites being designed for Pratibha Patil at the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala. The Presidential coach will have a meeting room, a dining room, a study and a bedroom. A separate enclosure is being made for the entourage. Presidential coaches had been discontinued in 2006.
