Bengal Ambuja floats luxury flats

Encouraged by strong sales of its luxury flats at 'Utsa' in New Town, Bengal Ambuja will build another HIG complex named Ujjwala also in New Town-Rajarhat township.

Bengal Ambuja, a leading joint sector housing company in West Bengal, had earlier launched comfort and efficiency apartments in Ujjwala on March 21.

The CMD of Bengal Ambuja, Harsh Neotia, told reporters that Ujjwala would have two luxury apartment blocks of 12 floors with 235 apartments sized between 1,100 and 2,800 square feet.

"Buyers will have options to choose between 2,3 and 4 bed room flats ranging from Rs 1470 to Rs 1570 per square feet.

Ujjwala would be close to VIP road and a commercial complex, or city centre, would come up on the adjoining plot," Neotia said.

The luxury apartments would have water fountains, playing arena for children, and, for the elderly, lawns and benches.

A space for cultural functions and a residents' club will offer a range of outdoor and indoor facilities.

The company has already built the City Centre at Salt Lake and plans to build a similar complex at Siliguri.
