Sahara township work begins at Indore

Leading private sector company Sahara Infrastructure and Housing today began the development of the Sahara city home township here along with Gwalior and Jhansi.
 
"The concept of the Sahara city home township here is part of the world's largest chain of self-sufficient high-quality townships that would be constructed across 217 cities in the country," company's Deputy Director G P Tiwari told reporters after the commencement of the construction work.
 
The Indore township is spread over 88.51 acres on the national highway three with 2,547 houses to be built in approximately five years time, with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore, he added.
 
Leading financial institutions like the State Bank of Indore, HDFC, ICICI and LIC will provide necessary assistance to the people for purchasing houses, he said, adding, the company has already received 328 bookings for its mega project.
