Era Infra to build Sahara Homes in Jaipur & Gwalior

Era Infra Engineering Ltd. (EIEL), a leading Infrastructure company in India today announced that it has bagged two contracts from Sahara India Commercial Corporation Ltd. to build Sahara homes in Jaipur and Gwalior. The contracts, combined worth of Rs.835 million have been awarded to the Contracts & Construction Division of EIEL.

The scope of work for the first contract valued at Rs 320 million involves construction of independent houses and bituminous road at Sahara City Homes, Jaipur. While the second order worth Rs. 515 million is aimed at creating Row houses, Semi detached units, Villas and Multi-Storeyed buildings at Sahara City Homes, Gwalior.

 

Both the projects are expected to be completed by November 2009.

With this, the order book for the Era Infra Engineering Limited on consolidated basis has gone up to Rs 4,875 crores. This is the total value of orders till April 30, 2008 and new orders received till date.

Commenting on the contracts, Mr. T.D.Arora, Head, Construction & Contracts Division said, "It is, indeed, a matter of great pride for us to receive two orders from the real estate major Sahara Group. These two projects will further showcase Era's capabilities of executing large scale housing projects. Our commitment towards quality construction & on-time delivery will further boost EIEL's order book value on consistent basis".
