Air Arabia introduces flights to Gassim, Saudi Arabia four days a week from Sharjah

Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa – connecting Sharjah to 13 destinations in India - announced today the introduction of a new flight destination in Saudi Arabia, from the carrier’s primary hub in Sharjah, UAE. With this introduction Air Arabia now connects you from - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calicut, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram – to Gassim, Saudi Arabia.
Beginning July 15, 2011, Air Arabia will offer 4-weekly flights to Gassim, making it easier and more convenient for passengers in India to visit friends and family located in Saudi Arabia. On Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays flights will depart Sharjah International Airport at 13:20 arriving at Gassim Airport (ELQ) at 14:20. Return flights will depart Gassim at 15:00 arriving Sharjah at 18:00 (local time).
Owing to the fact that, the connecting time from India to Sharjah is ideal, passengers will not have to wait for a long time to catch their flight to Gassim. This new flight destination is undoubtedly going to add value to all Air Arabia passengers traveling to and from India.

The significant Indian expatriate population in the UAE and wider Gulf region too will be benefited with this new destination”, he added.
