Amartya Sen greets Pranab Mukherjee

"He is wise and an erudite person. He is a political expert and man of liberal thinking. I am happy at his election as President", Sen, who is now at Santiniketan, told reporters here.

"I look forward to working together with Mukherjee, who will be the visitor of Nalanda University as president of the country, Sen, who was recently made its chancellor, said.
