One person died and 10 others were injured when the tractor trolley they were travelling in collided with a truck near Sikreda village under Miranpur police station here, police said today.
The injured have been admitted to hospital following the incident last evening, police said, adding that the deceased has been identified as one Saber Hasan.
Meanwhile, enraged over the incident, locals held a protest bearing the victim's body and blocked the Delhi-Pauri highway near Miranpur, they said.
Police later succeeded in having the blockade withdrawn, while the body was sent for a post-mortem.
