1 undertrial prisoner flees from hospital

An undertrial prisoner undergoing treatment at Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra today escaped from the police custody at the hospital, police said here.

Jaswant alias Tempu, who was lodged in Firozabad jail in an attempt to murder case, admitted to SN medical college for treatment yesterday, they said adding that he feld this morning by breaking grill of the bathroom.

The police has lodged an FIR in this connection and launched a manhunt to nab him, police said.
