12 passengers injured as train engine collides with bogey

The mishap took place as the engine of a passenger train no 55735 rammed into the rear bogey of the train during shunting injuring 12 passengers, the sources said.

The injured were admitted to hospitals in Araria district, they said.

The train was being shunted at Jogbani after arriving from Katihar for resuming its journey as the DN passenger train no. 55736 for Katihar, the sources said.
