: A 12th standard student was killed and his friend severely injured when a lorry rammed the rear side of the bike they were travelling in near Yercaud.
Police said the two had decided to go on a trip from here to Yercaud to celebrate after getting their results. The lorry hit the bike at a flyover in Kondalampatty area, they said.
The injured boy has been hospitalised.
