13 killed in China as overloaded vehicle crashes

The motorcycle was travelling along a rural road in Fujian province when it fell off a bridge, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

No other details were known on the crash.

The vehicle was overloaded with passengers, a local said.

In rural areas of China, travelling in overloaded vehicles is a common occurrence as villagers have no other way to travel.
