14 RPF personnel get President's police medal award

Fourteen Railway Protection Force personnel have been awarded President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious service on the occasion of Independence Day.

Bhupathi Mohan, Chief Security Commissioner of Southern Railway has been awarded President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service, according to a release.

Indian Police Medal for Meritorious service has been awarded to 13 RPF personnel including DIG of South East Central Railway Munawar Khursheed and DIG of East Coast Railway Kanchan Charan.

ASI Ramkirat Yadav of North East Railway ASI N Shalem Raju of South Central Railway and Sub Inspector C Gireesh of Southern Railway are among others who got Indian Police Medal for Meritorious service, it said.
