18 Bangladeshi nationals arrested in Malegaon

Eighteen suspected Bangladeshi nationals were arrested today in Malegaon taluka near here in North Maharashtra, police said.

The arrests were made in the early hours in a joint operation by Nashik Crime Branch and Malegaon Police at a labourers' colony in Sayne-Shivar, about 100km from here.

The suspected foreigners were found to be without proper documents like visa and passports and had some SIM cards from Bangladesh, police added.
