18-month-old girl drowns in water filled bucket

: In a freak accident, an 18 month-old girl died at nearby Settipatty village after drowning in a water filled bucket.

Police said the toddler was playing outside her house when she slipped and fell head first into the bucket of water kept nearby and drowned.

She was rushed to Omalur government hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead, they said.
