19-year-old goes missing in Faridabad

A 19-year-old married woman has been reported missing from Nangla Enclave-2 area of Faridabad, police said today.

According to the complaint filed by the victim's husband, Gajendra Saini, she left their home for some work on April 30 and has been missing since, they said.

Since she has not been found despite a thorough search by the family, the complainant fears that his wife has been kidnapped, they added.

A case was registered under section 346 (wrongful confinement in secret) of IPC at Saran police station in Faridabad, they said.

Police have started investigation in the case, investigating officer Laxman Singh said.
